a Little Bit About Lorie
I'm so excited to share with you about Lorie and her wonderful family. Recently, Lorie and her high school sweetheart celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary - how awesome is that? They're such a happy couple! Lorie's son is a senior in high school and he's really into football, while her daughter is in seventh grade and loves playing the trumpet. The whole family is always up for some adventure and they like to get involved in church activities too. Plus, they're so lucky to have Lorie's mom and mother-in-law living on their property in their own apartments.
Lorie's a super cool person too - she loves to read, travel, and spend time outdoors. And let me tell you, a cup of coffee or a dole whip always makes her day better! Her favorite Disney character is Alice, and she's a huge fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. But you know what really gets her going? Sitting on a bench at Magic Kingdom or Main Street USA in Disneyland with a Dole Whip. It's the little things in life, right?
Lorie is all about making memories with her family. She knows that the time before her son goes off to college is precious, so she cherishes every moment. Let's all take a page from Lorie's book and make the most of every day!
Let’s Talk about being a travel advisor!
She started working as a Travel Advisor in April of 2016, and she still loves what she does to this day! Before that, she had been a teacher from 1998 to 2021, and she loved that job too. But then, something amazing happened: Lorie became the "go-to" person for travel advice among her friends, family, church members, and others. She soon developed a passion for helping people make memories together, and a friend suggested that she should consider planning travel professionally. And boy, did she take the suggestion! She fell head over heels in love with it. Although she loved teaching, Lorie was able to resign and focus solely on travel planning. She absolutely loves making the process less stressful, being a part of her clients' "memory-making" moments, and serving them in every possible way. For Lorie, helping others plan their trips is not just a job, it's a joyful experience.
Where does Lorie love to travel?
Lorie is absolutely in love with traveling! She's always up for a good road trip to any of our beautiful National Parks, exploring historical and big cities, and cruising to new destinations. But there is one place that holds a truly special place in her heart - Disneyland. This magical place reminds her of her dad's childhood dream. When he was just a nine-year-old boy working as a migrant farm worker in Arkansas, he watched Disneyland being built in the mid-1950s. He promised himself that he would visit the park one day. And he did - when he was in his mid-forties, he took Lorie, her brother, and their grandparents on an unforgettable road trip from Oklahoma to California. Lorie still remembers the look of absolute wonder on her dad's face as he walked through the gates of Disneyland for the very first time. It's a moment that's etched in her heart forever. And over the years, Lorie, her husband, and their kids have been incredibly lucky to visit Disneyland with up to four generations of their family, and even with friends too! They've been annual passholders and simply adore Disneyland - it's such a special place to them.
Let's explore Orlando! What activity or attraction do you find most enjoyable in our neighborhood?
Lorie is absolutely crazy about "The Mouse" and the resident local "Wizard". She just can't get enough of the parks, the fireworks, the shows, and the nostalgia that comes with it all. And if you want to make her day, just take her to get some Dole Whip or Pumpkin Juice - she'll be over the moon!

She absolutely loves the early evenings when her kids are all home from school, band, and sports - it's truly the best time of day for her! Being surrounded by her wonderful family brings her so much joy and happiness.
